IG America Corporate Culture

The IG America Corporate Culture is based on three simple ideas: Keep our employees safe, provide the high quality hot dip galvanizing our customers deserve and be a responsible corporate citizen in terms of the impact we have on the environment in our local communities.

To turn these ideas into a reality for our employees, customers and community IG developed the “Industrial Galvanizers Compliance Management System” or IGCMS. The IGCMS is IGA's proprietary internal management system. The goal of the IGCMS is to meet or exceed our customers' expectations and all relevant ASTM requirements for quality, exceed all industry environmental regulations and exceed all occupational safety and health regulations. The IGCMS is based on the ISO model for systems management and incorporates three international standards into our own management structure. Our employee safety and health program is based on OHSAS 18001, a specification for employee health and safety. Customer quality is based on ISO 9001, the international standard for quality management systems and our environment impact is based on ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management.
