With a 50’ kettle IG Virginia offers its customers one of the largest kettles in the South and East. Opened in 1997 with a state-of-the-art plant, IG Virginia serves the bridge, structural and rebar markets throughout the eastern US. Customer steel has come from as far away as Canada and Texas and has been sent to Hawaii and South Korea. As big as IG Virginia is it still offers customers personal service regardless of size or job.
With its prime location at the junction of I-85 and I-95 in Petersburg IG Virginia offers easy access for work traveling in all directions.

From I-95: Travel to Petersburg, VA (milepost 52) and take I-85.
From I-85: Take Exit 65 – Squirrel Level Road. Follow the signs to Richard Bland College. IGV will be about 2 miles on your left. |
